We Were Once Students, Too is a conversation series that brings Columbia College alumni back to reflect on how this place—our college—helped shape who they are. Over a shared meal, alumni and students gather to exchange stories about finding their way, discovering purpose, and the role Columbia played in becoming the people they hoped to be. This month, we welcome Jay Adya back to campus!

Jay Adya is Managing Partner of Elysian Park Ventures, where he invests in companies at the intersection of sports, media, and technology. Jay has worked as an entrepreneur, operator, advisor, and investor, negotiating major global sports and media transactions and helping to guide investments in emerging technologies. A graduate of Columbia College and Columbia Business School, Adya has been recognized by Sports Business Journal as both a Forty Under 40 honoree and a Power Player.
