Please join us for the Senior Reread, a special event for graduating seniors on Monday, April 20, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. in the Maison Française. The event is a return to Literature Humanities, a celebration of the thinking and work you began there, and an opportunity to reunite with faculty and classmates from the Core.
The weeks leading up to graduation often feature celebratory events. This one is meant to mark your time as a member of an intellectual community. Faculty (Professors Julie Crawford, Molly Murray, Joanna Stalnaker and Nicholas Dames) and students (Emili Elkins, Kai Joseph, Salem Maru and DeVon Thompson) will return to the same lines from “The Odyssey.” What does it mean to reread these lines as you prepare to graduate?
Refreshments will be served, and there will be a parting gift.
