Religion of Sports

One filmmaker’s journey from Carmen12 to sports most iconic cathedrals.

Join Gotham Chopra CC'97 as he chronicles his own personal and professional journey from Columbia to the epicenter of Sports most hallowed grounds. Hear his tales of working with the likes of Kobe Bryant, Tom Brady, Serena Williams, Simone Biles, Steph Curry, and Conor McGregor and what he’s been able to glean from collaborating with the GOATS and how their paths to greatness can shape our own. He’ll also make the case that sports aren't just like religion, but are religion and actually better than institutionalized faith. No need to "shut up and dribble," bring your questions, strong opinions, and sports fanaticism to this singular and special event.

Limited to 30 students, dinner included. Open to Columbia College, Engineering and General Studies students.
